越南排在第7名，主要是因为越南基础建设不够，国土狭长又没有高速公路，也没有捷运，而且投资有限制。但从2016年下半年开始，越南政府给予新局，取消了外资持有上限49%的规定，现在只有银行有特别限制。外国人也可以持有买卖房地产。

第一，越南人很温和，第二，他们的宗教，跟台湾和中国差不多，连庆连节跟台湾和中国一样，算是第二个中国。
中国崛起
越南华人有82万人，占总人口1%，近几年随中国崛起，很多当地人认为随中国发展对他们未来有帮助，这出现了中国热，想学中文的人数增加.
越南经济
越南经济也在起飞当中，房地产也是其中一环，距离胡志明中心正在进行大型的造镇计划，这个区域完工后，将有13栋建筑物。13栋建筑物里包含一个86层摩天大楼。另外还有酒店和购物中心，商办跟住宅。这个地方被形容成上海东新区，胡志明高级商办都会在这。
越南房地产正在进入上涨阶段，相交邻近其他国家。2016年交易量超过40%，对国内住宅买家来说，每年可达到5 - 8%投资回酬，非常吸引外资投资。
另外，胡志明第一条捷运正在新建，2020完工通车，让房价有期待空间。

- 越南业务续扩充
大众银行越南有限公司也取得出色成长。郑鸿标指出，在2016年收购大众银行越南的剩余股权后，已带来令人鼓励的表现。集团将继续在越南展开扩充计划，目标是于2017年开设6家分行。

翻查2016年年报图（3）Chairman statement里面提及过去5年公司的ROE都超过20%以上，除了2013年是18.5%。另外，公司虽然没有派息政策但过去5年的Total Net profit RM
33.6million派出了47.7% total dividend
RM16million. 如果包过Bonus issue 将高达75.6%。

2016年1月16号, director在the
star里面提及尽管其主要竞争对手是Schneider Electric和Siemens等主要国际品牌，公司仍在马来西亚获得超过50％的市场份额 - 保护继电器的利基(Niche area of protective
relays)。公司的竞争优势是他们提供的售后服务。对于公司的马来西亚客户，如果他们面临与公司产品有关的任何问题或不确定性，我们派技术人员帮助他们，很多其他品牌都无法提供这项服务。

购买新工厂
在2015年12月17号, 公司在Bursa公告表示已经获得了一块Freehold的工业用地，面积约为4,047平方米，有一个单层仓库，一个附属的三层办公大楼和停车场等, 以RM 11.72 Million购买位于巴生地皮与建筑，为往后发展铺路。
根据之前公司在报道提及可以该工厂将为公司的能力增加到现在做的五倍。
另外，公司并未通过发right issue向股东拿钱购买土地，而是通过一项私人配售(private
placement)，以筹集约846万美元用于翻新工程，购买机械设备和营运资金。

重点
- 公司之前符合转主板条件，但未转，而2017年三月的最新报道提及，公司不愿转主板。转主板能吸引基金购买该公司股票，但公司目前已说明没有这个打算。不过，公司目前已经有5个投资机构投资，当中包过Norges Bank, 兴业银行和大华银行旗下基金。
- 2016年年报提及公司的Tax exemption将在2017年5月30号到期，但director并未担心，不会影响公司业务，免税优惠只限于软件开发成本，失去免税优惠预计往后需要承担RM70万到RM80万左右。根据本人自身经验，公司购买的新工厂如果开始运作，有机会再次拿到免税优惠。
- 另外，新工厂增加新生产线和储存空间近期以获得有关当局批准。
- 根据2016年年报 - 图（6）我们可以看到出口去Vietnam的需求开始增加，而且对比2015年几乎增加两倍的量。
- 另外，公司出口是以美元计算，公司进口原料也是以美元计算，但从Trade receivables 对比Trade payables占的比例，明显看出公司赚美元比较多。也从2016年一月的报道提及虽然公司必须进口大约20％的原材料，但出口的收入明显高于和超过这些成本。
- 当公司收购新工厂，而且未来产量会增加五倍，明显看出公司准备开阔东南亚市场，现在我们看到越南需求量大增，尤其是越南开始要建13栋建筑物里包含一个86层摩天大楼。另外还有酒店和购物中心，商办跟住宅，还有越南生态城市公园和工厂等。刚好都是公司主要潜在客户，因为产品主要用于建筑物和工厂的供电装置，以防止电流超载，短路或漏电。在最新2017年三月报道，也证明这个观点，提及东南亚市场潜力大，新建筑物不断涌现，加上原有客户更换新设备带动。近几年越南经济发展蓬勃，大部分建筑物仍未有这设备，因此拥有巨大商机。目前公司出口占44%，下个目标未来5年提升到2/3。
- 新产品抢占市场，公司今年内推出智能系列电器，采用物联网的概念，让电器系统连接互联网，客户可通过网络及时掌握工厂的电流状况和发生电路问题时找出根源，可成为公司未来成长动力，让公司未来5年持续忙碌，而该产品将以全套式销售，料可进一步提升该公司赚幅。

另外，值得笔者留意五月公布的业绩将是关键，去年五月公布的业绩提及公司由于农历新年假期的影响和新年庆祝活动的推进效应，本季度传统上是较低的销售季度。如果这次的季度增加，将是利好因素。
